KEVIN ANGULO
Kevin Angulo is an American multi-disciplinary artist, designer, and curator based in Massachusetts. He attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University from 2014-2016. Prior to his education, he entered nearly 15 works of art to the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards concluding of a total of 11 awards: 4 Gold Keys, 3 Silver Keys, 3 honorable mentions and a national silver medal all ranging from 2009 to 2013. In addition to executing his Public Art practice, Kevin also focuses on developing new tangible work on canvas. Angulo exhibited and sold paintings at the SMFA Art exhibition in 2016, Trade Gallery (Providence) in 2017, and 1 Percent Gallery (Newbury Street Boston Pop-up) in 2018. Kevin has been producing work in a range of mediums for over a decade and has made a lifetime commitment to his multi-disciplinary artistry.
The Art-making process makes it thrilling for Angulo to dedicate time to examine. For Angulo, it is imperative that the subject matter not only consistently parallels the stylistic creation of the work of Art, but also that it welcomes a sense of ambiance.
